Dyeing and Fabric Processing

Our dyeing facility has been operating since 1976. It is located in the industrial area of Sindos, Thessaloniki, covering an area of 27.00 m². Its production capacity is 12–14 tons of dyed fabrics per day, which are intended both for the internal production of our own garments and for other clients, domestically and for export. The entire process, from the receipt of fabrics to their shipment, is digitally monitored. There is complete traceability of users and processes throughout the entire workflow.

In addition to dyeing, the factory has production lines for rotary printing (all-over), digital printing for natural and polyamide fabrics, and transfer printing for polyester fabrics. Our staff is highly specialized and includes certified chemists and chemical engineers who are involved in various stages of production. We continuously follow developments in textile technology and adapt to emerging needs. All our raw materials are certified and comply with European standards for human health and safety.

Dyeing Department

We have dyeing machines with capacities ranging from 30 to 1200 kilograms, meeting both small and large production needs. All dyeing machines are automatic and state-of-the-art, with continuous upgrades made over the past two years. The entire production process is automated, requiring minimal human intervention. The machines are fully automated, ensuring precision in both color shades and the final outcome. Strict specifications are followed, both in the initial production and in the repeatability of batches, to ensure there are no deviations between them.

Finishing Department

The final finishing of fabrics is the most critical stage, as it determines the quality and feel of the end product. In recent years, we have invested in a complete renewal of all machines with cutting-edge technology, worth millions of euros.

Our finishing department offers a wide range of processes, including:

  • Dimensional stabilization
  • Brushing with variable intensity (light or heavy)
  • Carbon finishing for a soft-touch suede effect
  • Graduated antipilling for clean, smooth surfaces
  • And many other specialized treatments for more advanced fabrics

Printing Department

Our rotary printing system can print up to 12 colors, using corresponding cylinders. Each cylinder represents a single color, is made of metal, and the designs are engraved onto it using laser technology

Inkjet digital printing allows for the creation of complex and multicolored prints. First, the design or image is created digitally and sent to the printing machine. The inkjet heads spray the ink directly onto the fabric. The specialized inks we use ensure high resistance to washing and abrasion. Despite its advantages—such as high resolution & detail and low cost for small production runs—it does have some limitations.

Paper transfer printing is an advanced technique that enables the creation of impressive, high-definition designs. The designs are first printed onto special transfer paper, and then, using heat and pressure, they are transferred from the paper onto the fabric. This process ensures extremely accurate and clean transfer of the designs, delivering vibrant and multicolored results, ideal for specialized fabrics.

Creative Department

In our creative department, we have the ability to reproduce any design provided by our clients, as well as to develop unique, custom-made designs for exclusive use. Thanks to our many years of experience, our team—guided by the input of our clients—can bring any idea to life and tackle even the most demanding creative challenges.
From the initial concept to the final execution, we work closely with our clients to ensure that each design perfectly reflects their needs and desires.

Chemistry Lab

Our chemistry lab is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and systems, as well as a modern computerized system for the creation and management of dyeing recipes. All operations follow international standards and procedures, ensuring high levels of quality and performance.

The main responsibilities of the chemistry lab include:

  • Creating dyeing recipes for production batches, aiming for accurate reproduction of the desired shades and efficient use of raw materials.
  • Routing recipes through an automated system, ensuring correct and precise application of the dyeing process, reducing the margin of error and improving overall efficiency.
  • Updating, conducting, and checking laboratory samples, and sending them for approval to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Providing continuous updates to customers on the progress and development stage of lab samples, ensuring transparency and timely adaptation to their needs.
  • Conducting advanced sample and fabric testing using specialized equipment (e.g. color fastness test methods) to guarantee long-lasting durability and quality of dyed fabrics.
  • Certifying any deviations from the desired result to ensure compliance with specifications and maintain consistency in quality.

Using specialized spectrophotometry systems, we are able to perform precise measurements and fully meet all production requirements—offering high-quality products that meet our clients’ expectations.

Quality Control Department

Quality control is carried out at every stage of the production process, and any required actions are redesigned or adjusted accordingly. At the end of the process, each batch undergoes a final quality inspection, during which a range of parameters is assessed—such as twisting, shrinkage, appearance, strength, width, surface texture, lint, spotting, foreign substances, and more.
When the fabrics are deemed to meet specifications, the results are recorded, and a receipt document is issued. This document accompanies the fabrics as they are forwarded to their next destination: the garment cutting stage for the final product.
